Roland Berg - Chief Executive Officer

Roland E. Berg is CEO and Founder of Logis-Tech inc. Prior to founding LTi, Mr. Berg served as a member of the Senior Executive Service in the Department of Defense, serving as Director, Maintenance Policy, Office Secretary of Defense, and Principal Deputy Director Supply and Maintenance, Office Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics, Department of the Army. Mr. Berg also served as a career Army officer in multiple command, staff and program management positions in the U.S, Europe, the Mid East, South East Asia and Korea and retired as a Colonel USA. Mr. Berg is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Minnesota with graduate work at the JFK School of Government, Harvard University. James Bounds - President

James K. Bounds is the President and General Counsel and reports directly to the CEO on all matters pertaining to the company. He joined the Logis-Tech, inc. team in October of 1995. Prior to Logis-Tech,inc., Mr. Bounds was engaged in the private practice of law and also served as a clerk to the Chief Staff Attorney of the Supreme Court of Virginia. Mr. Bounds also served in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer and a light armored vehicle officer during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Mr. Bounds holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. James Bounds - President

David Powers - Vice President, Operations

David L. Powers is the Vice President for Operations and is responsible for all matters pertaining to the execution of awarded contracts for the design, integration, production, installation, training and service of Logis-Tech’s patented Environment Stabilization Systems (ESS®). Prior to joining the Logis-Tech team in 1999, Mr. Powers served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 30 years starting his career as an enlisted aviation fire control technician with subsequent assignments as a recruiter, electronics instructor and ultimately attaining the position of an Avionics Officer through a commissioning program. His last assignment was at Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD as the Mobile Facilities Product Support Team Leader. Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, Albany, NY and a Level II Certification in the Department of Defense Acquisition Logistic Career Field. Stephen Medeiros - Vice President, Innovation & Partnering

Stephen A. Medeiros is the Vice President for Innovation and Partnering and reports directly to the President. He joined the Logis-Tech team in 2017. Prior to Logis-Tech, Inc., Mr. Medeiros was the Principal Logistician for the Columbia Group supporting HQMC Installations and Logistics and Marine Corps Installation Command. In the Marine Corps, he commanded at every level, culminating in leading over 2,000 government civilians, contractors and Marines of the Marine Depot Maintenance Command (Albany, GA/Barstow, CA) to maintain, repair, and overhaul the Marine Corps’ ground combat equipment. Earlier in the Marine Corps, he served in executive staff positions focusing on support for Joint and Marine Corps operations, logistics processes, and strategic planning. He retired as a Colonel of Marines on 1 August 2013. Mr. Medeiros holds a Bachelor’s in Modern Languages from the Virginia Military Institute and Master’s Degree in Social Science from the Maxwell School, Syracuse University. Christine Shartzer - Chief Financial Officer

Christine Shartzer serves as Logis-Tech’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  Ms. Shartzer has been with Logis-Tech since 1995, she is a seasoned financial executive with industry experience in Government Contracting and Commercial Real Estate Management.  With more than 30 years of professional experience in public accounting and industry, her areas of expertise include the Management of Accounting Operations; Financial and Tax Compliance; Reporting and Analysis; Software Implementation and Administration; Multi-State Taxation Compliance and Reporting; Government Contracting oversight; DCAA/FAR/DFARS Compliance; Budgeting and Proposals; Corporate Benefit Administration and Compliance.

Ms. Shartzer holds a B.S. and a MBA in Business Administration with a core concentration in Accounting from the University of Mary Washington College.  She is a licensed CPA in the State of Virginia, a member of the AICPA and VSCPA and 2011’ Alumni of Leadership Prince William.
