Effective 8 September 2009, federal law requires Logis-Tech, LLC to use the Internet-based E-Verify system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

The information provided by the employee on their Form I-9 will be checked electronically in E-Verify against DHS and Social Security Administration (SSA) database records to confirm work authorization in the U.S. and verify the employment eligibility of the employee.
