Damp air affects the entire building’s air quality. Dorms, classrooms, gyms, and libraries can all be impacted by damaging high relative humidity. Items corrode, warp, mildew and mold. Condensation causes many more issues.

But it is the occupants, the students, staff and teachers that are affected the most. Their health is directly impacted by air quality. Asthma, headaches, and fatigue are just a few illnesses linked with indoor air quality. A poor environment is nor conducive to concentration and learning, and air quality illnesses lead to increased absences, further jeopardizing mastery of concepts being taught.
